1. We take anything related to children and expectant moms. We accept clothing in sizes Infant up to Size 14 and all sizes of maternity. Accepted shoe size is up to size 5 (older kids’ size). Shoes need to be in very good condition. Clothing needs to be clean and again in favorable condition. It is preferable that clothing be minimally folded with sets together, free of any odors and brought in a box. Toys need to be clean and in good working condition, with all parts included. We do NOT accept ANY carseats for resell, as recommended by the Department of Transportation. We do accept most other baby equipment that is in good condition.
CPSIA Note- in order to comply with the new CPSIA legislation, we are going to be extremely picky with our toys, as we’ve been studying which items have been recalled due to lead content, and which items are LIKELY to have a high lead/phthalate content. These items will not be accepted.
2. Clothing brought in to consign should have been purchased within the past 5 years. We want your items to sell. Too dated items just do not sell. Consignments are gone through very thoroughly to check for any holes or stains or wear. Items with holes, multiple stains, excessive wear, and aged items will not be accepted. If a small stain is noticed on a piece of high quality clothing, I can try to get it out. The consignment percentage will be 40% on items that require washing and are then sold. Kid’s Corner will not wash items unnecessarily if they are brought in clean and fresh.
3. Please be sure ALL garage sale stickers are off all items before they are brought in for consignment if you've had a garage sale. There will be a $10 charge assessed if stickers are left on for us to remove.
4. You may choose to be in 1 of 3 categories:
D = Donate = we will donate anything we find problems with, such as spots, stains, holes, wear or Too dated. We will also donate anything that doesn’t sell
R = Return = You want back what we can’t use AND WHAT DOESN’T SELL. (There is a $3.00 service charge for this option….waved on the 1st time) You will be sent a postcard (OR email if you have one) if you need to pick any unused items up. We generally give you about 1 week to pick them up. If you don’t come back in or decide you don’t want them back, they will be donated to a local charity organization.
SPECIAL NOTE: This postcard (or email) will also state thru which month your items will be out. PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS, because this will be your ONLY notification. Your items will be out on the racks for 3 months at full price (This starts from the day we get them out.)
EMPLOYEES AT KIDS CORNER ARE ALLOWED A 10% DISCOUNT ON THEIR OWN PURCHASES, WHICH IS A DISCOUNT THAT IS SHARED WITH THE CONSIGNOR. (we each make 5% less on any given item that an employee purchases)
KID’S CORNER RESERVES THE RIGHT to run random sales throughout the 4 month period, for marketing purposes…
After that, they will then discounted for 1 month (50-75% off) then pulled or donated. If you wish to have any unsold items back, it will be your responsibility to come and pick out your items then. WE PULL THE SALE RACK DOWN AT 2:00PM ON THE LAST DAY OF THE LAST MONTH., SO YOU WILL WANT TO COME BEFORE THAT TIME.. We will print your list for you when you come. If you don’t come to pull them out, they will be donated after the 4th month.
D/R - Donate/Return = we will donate anything we can’t use, but you can come back and pull off the sale rack anything that hasn’t sold. THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS OPTION. We will send you your listing and what month they will stay to.
5. We will price all of the items, and they will be listed in the computer system under your name. As each item sells, the computer will log the date and amount onto that item on your list. You can at any time request a report of what sold, and what and how many items you've consigned and what the status is of those items.
You may collect your credit at anytime, in the form of a check or cash, or you may choose to leave it here as credit to use towards purchasing your own clothing.

Payment policy: Consignor receives 50% of the selling price minus taxes and handling fees.
6. At Kid’s Corner, we begin taking Spring/Summer consignments in December, and Fall/Winter in June.
** As we begin to accept and mark the new season’s clothes, they will be getting put right out, rather than waiting for an opening day.**
7. Kid's Corner will take very reasonable care of your merchandise, but is not responsible for any theft.
8. Hours are: M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm Wed. 9am to 8:30pm Sat. 8:30am to 4pm
