What to consign and when:

Thank you for your interest in consigning with Nearly New. The following information will help guide you through the consignment process & outline our store policy. Nearly New Consignments accepts clothing Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday Only!  No Consignments will be accepted on a Friday or Saturday.  A maximum of 10 to 15 items may be consigned in any two week period.  Nearly New charges a $10.00 registration fee for the year. The sale price of consigned items will be split between Nearly New Consignment's and the Consignors as follows: Nearly New Consignments will retain 60% of the sale price and the consigner receives 40%.  Consigned items will be priced by Nearly New.  Consigned items are marked down by 20% every 30 days the items remain unsold, for a maximum of 90 days. After the 90 day sale period, you have a choice of donating your items to the Vernon United Methodist Church or picking your items back up.  It's a fact, children grow overnight and keeping them in great clothes can cost a small fortune.  All of our clothes are hand selected and are in new and nearly new condition.  As the consignor you need to prepare your items so that you get the most out of your consignment experience.  First-Timers should bring no more than 10-15 items to keep the initial meeting short.  The person accepting your consignment will look over each peace for "Sale Ability".  Don't be disappointed if some of your items are not accepted for consignment.

Nearly New will only accept what the clientele will buy, therefore we will only accept current styles for consignment. Trendy merchandise that is more than two-years old may not be currently in demand and, therefore, not accepted for consignment.
